Though it is easy to reach the Linksys web portal, you can access it on any device’s web browser. But, there are some conditions that you must consider before moving to access this window. That is making the extender ready to configure and connect your device to its network. So, in the first step, plug in the extender or your Linksys other device and make sure to plug it closer to the router. Then, attach your device to the network either using an ethernet wire or choosing the wireless network. 

Thereafter, go to the device’s web browser and search for the Linksys web address which is http//extender.linksys.com. But, if you are unable to reach there by using the web address, use the IP address instead of that. In this case, enter 192.168.1.1 in the URL bar of the browser and click enter. Soon, you will be accessible to the login page of the extender from where you can do further processing after logging in. You will then be able to do the extender setup by following the directions displayed on the device’s screen. Thus, you will be successful in accessing the web portal in these two ways.
